History

CODM Meknes, known as Club Omnisports De Meknès, originated from the merger of local teams Rachad Meknassi, ASTF, Atlas, and Alismailia on June 21, 1962. This amalgamation marked the birth of a significant football entity in Meknes, Morocco. Initially formed with teams spanning water polo, basketball, volleyball, handball, and football, CODM Meknes quickly established itself as a prominent sporting presence in the region. However, the club's journey was not without its challenges, as evidenced by the dissolution of Al-Ittihad Meknes in the wake of independence, which paved the way for the emergence of Rashad Club of Meknes.

Despite facing hurdles in its early years, CODM Meknes gradually solidified its position in Moroccan football, securing notable achievements such as winning the Moroccan League First Division title in 1995 and clinching the Coupe du Trône in 1966. The club's participation in continental competitions, including appearances in the CAF Confederation Cup, further underscored its stature on the African football stage. Through resilience and determination, CODM Meknes has etched its name in the annals of Moroccan football history, embodying the spirit of unity and perseverance that defines the city of Meknes.
